Please mark your calendars for May 20, 2010. Our annual Awards Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Rogers Center, Saint Vincent College from 11:30 am - 1 pm.  Reservations are required and the cost is $25 per person and $200 per table.  The awardees this year are McFeely Rogers Foundation, Bethlen Communities, and Derry Township Supervisors.  The keynote speaker is Senator Kim Ward, Chairperson for the Committee on Aging and Youth.

Tune in to our monthly radio show on WCNS 1480 am beginning Saturday, Sept 26, 2009 at 9:30 am and continuing the last Saturday of every month at 9:30 am.  A half hour of interviews with program participants and partners, updates, information for the Laurel community! .

Annual Events Include The Following:

	Annual Awards Luncheon. The luncheon is held to raise awareness of the program in the business community and serves to recognize three organizations that have made considerable contributions to the program. The luncheon is held in late spring.

	Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner. The dinner is the opportunity for the program staff and Board to thank all of the volunteers for their service over the past years. The dinner is generally held in October at the Grove at Saint Vincent. The Area Agency of Aging provides catering services for the dinner and local businesses and organizations donate gifts for the volunteers.

	Quarterly Volunteer Meetings with interesting guest speakers. Public is welcome; call the Faith in Action office for the schedule.
