At Faith in Action, we are "Changing lives, two at a time". The rewards are as great for the Volunteers giving as they are for the Recipients receiving the services.

We are all called to reach out and help our neighbor. Knowing who to help and how to help is sometimes a greater challenge that helping, though. The LAIVC program makes it easy for all to help. Our youngest volunteers are barely a year old (part of our "Moms" team), many are adolescents and teens, and several are aged 80 and above.

We ask volunteers to commit just two hours per week and we provide great flexibility --- you choose what you want to do and when you can do it.

Volunteers can join the program individually, or may want to join one of our teams. Working with a team, volunteers may go on assignments together and may rely on their teammates for backup when they are ill or out of town.
